Estelle has lived in Nevada County since 1981 enjoying the privilege of raising three sons.
She has degrees in Elementary Education and Accounting and has worked in the accounting field for 30 years with the last 10 years working with non-profits. Currently she is the Finance Manager for Music in the Mountains and the treasurer for the Nevada County Composers Cooperative.
Hiking, bike riding, learning how to garden and work on her never ending home remodel with her partner, Mark, occupy her spare time.
Mike has been a parent and ride leader with the NU Mountain Bike Team since 2012. Mike enjoys pre-riding race venues with the team, camping at Boggs Mountain State Forest, and timing both Enduro and Cross Country races. Mike has spent countless hours re-purposing and refining the YBONC race timing software and combing over the results, because ‘Everyone needs a hobby.’
Nevada County resident for over 35 years. Father of three children, two currently attend NUHS. Employed by Siemens Water Technologies since 1991, I supervise industrial water treatment operations at the Telefunken Semiconductor plant in Roseville, CA. Our family enjoys the wide variety of outdoor activities found locally. A long time fan of the many cycling events held in Nevada City, I seized the opportunity to take up mountain biking when my son joined the NU MTB Team three years ago. Its been uphill, downhill, uphill since.
Jet Lowe has lived in Nevada City since 1987, married to Robert Lowe, MD. Their two children both attend Nevada Union High School.
Jet is a GIS/CAD specialist for the Tahoe N.F., Nevada City, CA. She has 28 years in federal employment, 21 with Forest Service, 7 with Department of Defense. GIS training from ESRI courses, education in business and computer science at San Francisco State University. Jet enjoys cooking, riding bikes and horses, and scenic drives.

John Seivert, MS, PT, FAAOMPT, CSCS
John moved from Santa Cruz to Grass Valley in 2000 and worked at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. In 2001 he opened his private practice, Seivert Physical Therapy.
As a business owner, John has provided countless volunteer hours evaluating and treating sports injuries from the youth sports teams of NUHS’s cross country and mountain bike teams and the Bear River HS football team.
John is also a competitive age group bike racer competing in road, mountain, and cyclo-cross events. He and his two kids enjoy the great outdoors of Nevada County skiing, biking, swimming, and hiking.
Owner of the Tour of Nevada City Bicycle Shop, experienced MTB/road racer, and member of numerous corporate and community service boards and committees, Duane is the volunteer promoter of the Nevada City Bicycle Classic and local organizer of the Amgen Tour of California.
