Eat Healthy!

Good nutrition is critical for all youth and while participating in cycling, our children require even more healthy calories. We understand that knowing the right fuel and being able to provide it can be difficult. This process becomes exponentially more difficult when dealing with some of the area’s local racing teams. Just to feed the Nevada Union Miners Mountain Bike Team can take anywhere between 40 and 120 snacks a day!

YBONC offers the Healthy Snack Program where local school teams can apply for $100 grants to cover snacks. You can email us with your request.

YBONC Grant Program is about supporting cycling related projects and activities that benefit youths and the outdoors in our community, through school bike clubs. Our mission is to engage youths in building a positive lifestyle as young adults with cycling related activities and eating healthy.

Our foundation is excited to offer a $1000 scholarship for graduating high school seniors attending schools in the Nevada County School District.
